The problems in Ecuador's rural communities require real and concrete actions. FAP's \"Sponsor a child\" program aims to contribute to the education, health, and nutrition of children in underprivileged rural communities in the Ecuadorian Amazon so they can opt for a dignified future with equal opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

You can support by looking after the well-being of a child in a community as if they were part of your family. This support can be:<\/p>

Financial (the money received by the Foundation will be invested in the well-being of the sponsored child)

Fundaci\u00f3n Amazon\u00eda Productiva, together with the interest of their supportive sponsors, ensures the long-term education, health, nutrition, and wellbeing of the children, until the end of primary and secondary school. This program not only benefits the sponsored child but also the development of the whole community through projects that support schools, canteens, libraries, professional training, literacy plans, etc.<\/span><\/p>

The sponsor receives a detailed report with information about their sponsored child (including a photo), their family, background, and the programmed in which they are participating. This report is sent to them via email. In addition, they receive a semiannual report from the institution where the child is studying about their school performance. The sponsor can communicate whenever they wanted and send gifts, respecting some minimum rules, such as not sending expensive or individualistic gifts so as not to generate differences with other children or not too heavy so as not to generate additional costs when receiving (requested by the courier).<\/span><\/p>

Corresponding with a sponsored child is an enriching experience for both the sponsor and the child. A letter or a drawing allows the sponsor to feel proud of the progress made by your sponsored child, thanks in large part to your help. It is worth mentioning that children are not obliged to write if they do not want. Their freedom must be respected, above all, in general, all children are very affectionate with people and even more so if they are their sponsors.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
