TWO DAYS GREEN TOUR WITH AROMAS DE CAFÉ – LAS ARADAS
A Green tour of 2 days with an aroma of Coffee - Las Aradas, is the perfect combination between walk and knowledge. This trip is designed for you to enjoy San Antonio de las Aradas in the province of Loja by learning about the production process of one of the best coffees in Ecuador, and incidentally contributing a grain of sand to the environment.
DAY 1 IN GREEN TOUR OF TWO DAYS WITH AROMA OF COFFEE - LAS ARADAS
- We will pick you up early in the morning in Catamayo or Loja.
- Arrival to San Antonio de las Aradas and check in the Aromas de Café Hostel.
- Visit to the place we are reforesting and will plant one or many native(s) tree(s) of the zone.
- Lunch at the Aromas de Café Hostel.
- Visit to the Agroecological coffeemaker farm Los Limos, where we can observe techniques for cultivating, sowing, nurseries, organic fertilizers, harvest, and post-harvest, according to the time of the visit.
- In the afternoon, we will hike around San Antonio de las Aradas village, where will learn more about its history and take the chance to visit the Artisanal Coffee Factory that produces threshed, toasted, grinding, and packaging coffee. This coffee has been the winner of the TASA DORADA AWARD for the best coffee in Ecuador for four times.
- At night, you will enjoy a dinner and taste a typical drink of the zone. Finally, get rest.
DAY 2 IN GREEN TOUR OF TWO DAYS WITH AROMA OF COFFEE - LAS ARADAS
- Breakfast/Hostel Check out and return trip to Catamayo/Loja.
- En el camino haremos una parada en la parroquia Fundochamba, conocida por la ganadería y producción de café. Aquí visitaremos una finca cafetalera, participaremos en el proceso de elaboración del producto de manera tradicional con herramientas elaboradas de manera manual, y disfrutaremos de una tasa de café acompañado de queso típico de la provincia de Loja.
